RED will feature more than 60,000 SF of retail space throughout the community, including a unique single tenant building with a large patio area, The Outpost, that seamlessly connects to the expansive central park. With beautiful landscaping and thoughtful hardscape throughout the community, RED’s pedestrian-friendly backbone will effortlessly connect bars, restaurants, and shops to create the new epicenter of entertainment for Reno.

The Outpost

The culinary anchor for RED, featuring 14 unique local restaurants, a brewery, a hidden speakeasy, and a multipurpose venue to excite and soothe the hungry and thirsty crowd.

Luxury Apartments

With 1,300 luxury apartments homes planned across seven unique buildings, RED will be a true live, work, play community.

Boutique Hotel

Element by Westin will be operating a 170- room hotel in RED. The boutique brand from Marriott Hotels offers long-term and extended stay options that target health and environmentally conscious travelers.

With 1,300 new residential apartments and a 170-room hotel on the immediate premise, RED will become a haven for visitors near and afar.

We are looking for a variety of retailers that will help us redefine Reno as a new culinary and entertainment destination.

RED offers versatile retail spaces ranging from 8,000 SF to 11,000 SF in The Outpost and additional opportunities on ground floors of the surrounding residential buildings, ranging from 1,500 SF to 6,000 SF.


RED’s central Reno location makes it ideal for the visionary mixed-use project.

Future residents will call this home to over 1,300 luxury apartment homes, 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 170-key hotel and a tech office campus. The retail and apartment homes will be activated by a large central park with active programming. In addition, The Outpost, with cutting-edge culinary concepts, will complement the apartments and retail. The retail mix will be curated to bring a new era of kitschy retail to breathe life back in to Reno’s destination shopping.

The History

The Reno Experience District (RED) is deep-rooted in the history of Reno. The project is located on the busy intersection of Plumb Lane and South Virginia Street at the southern entrance to Reno’s Midtown District.

Plumb Lane is a main commuter route that links the residences in West Reno to Interstate 580 and the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. South Virginia street is Reno’s main arterial, connecting the University of Nevada to the North and the dominant Meadowood retail trade area to the South.
